One of the changes that came out of the recent Public Company Accounting Reform and Investor Protection Act of 2002 was a change in the current peer review process. As many of you know, the accounting profession has been under a system called the peer review process for the past several decades. Individual firms go through this process on a triennial basis. Firms can be issued anything from a clean opinion on the system of quality control to adverse opinions on the accounting firm’s system. A very small percentage of all firms on an annual basis receive a completely unmodified opinion with no letter of comments. We are please to let you know that Bailey, Carr & Co. has received
unmodified opinions since the program began in 1994. This places Bailey, Carr & Co. in a very small group of CPA firms across the nation.
At Bailey, Carr & Co., we are strong advocates of the peer review program and take the quality of services we provide our clients very seriously. Consequently, we welcome any comment you may have regarding ways we can improve.
For more information on the changes in the peer review process, please contact us. We are proud of our record and stand behind it as it exemplifies our motto “Strategy – Integrity – Results”.
Thank you for your confidence in Bailey, Carr & Co. and our people.
